Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Pectoral Muscle

hi, i had a baby 6 months ago via scheduled c-section. breast fed for 3 weeks. can't cpmplain about nights. my left pectoral muscle seems to have been sore for at least 1 month now. I rubbed some muscle pain cream on it and it reduced the pain a little but it still hurts. the pain is only when I force to pick up my baby or bend down to the floor or turn in bed... bruise-like pain" when i press on it with my fingers. I do feel a bump but not being a doctor, I feel the same bump on the right, like a muscle feels. "i don't feel pain when breathing either. could i have pulled something while picking baby up? repeated movement all day long?
