I accidently swallowed less than a teaspoon of household hydrogen peroxide on Wenesday morning. It frothed and came right back up after a few seconds. I drank some water and outside of a little queasiness, I didn t experience any further problems. Well, since last night, my throat has been very sore. I wouldn t go so far a burning but definitely sore and swallowing food feels uncomfortable. Should I see a doctor or just allow it to heal on its own?
Thanks for your reply. I have gone through your query. The soreness in the throat can be because of the burn caused by the hydrogen peroxide. Nothing to be panic, it will heal in 3-5 days. If it does not subside, then consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while do saline gargling. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
