Suggest Treatment For Sores In The Cheeks While On Adderall

I have a question about a medication I'm taking I'm on adderall and been taking for 4 days now and I noticed that I have little one sores on inner part of cheeks and my lip ...and I don't see that under the side effects. .. .I have taken this med in past on lower dose never noticed any problems. .and now with increase I got now I have these sores ..does this go away or should I just stop them till I can I get in to see my doctor

As per your complain sores on cheek after taking Addrell can be due to side effect of the medication and is not necessarily a direct side effect and can be a secondary side effect..

Addrell can cause dry mouth which inturn can cause inflammation in mouth and formation of sores..

I would therefore suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation has to be done..
In case if it is due to higher dose of medication then reducing the dose can help..

In case of dry mouth chew sugarfree chewing gums..
-Drink plenty of water.
-Avoid regular mouthwash and use specialized mouthwash that are formulated for dry mouth patients like Biotene..
-You can also instil artificial saliva drops..
-Suck tart candies as it also stimulates saliva flow..
