Suggest Treatment For Sores On Scalp In Patients With Panhypopitutary
I am panhypopitutary and I have a constant problem with small sores on my scalp. any suggestions? Also what is your position on marijuana with my condition? I m 63 and I would love to use marijuana to legally help me sleep instead of a pharmaceutical at bedtime.
As per your case history of scalp sores, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid hair oil application for 1 month. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
