Suggest Treatment For Spinal Stenosis

I had an accident in a lift, where the lift dropped about 5ft and come to a sudden stop. It jolted me and caused me back pain. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and bulging of the annulus. could the accident have caused this as i had never had these problems before.
