Suggest Treatment For Split Webbing In Between The Index And Middle Finger

Hi, my son just split the webbing between his middle an index fingers catching a football. The cut is almost 1/2 inch in length and bled pretty good initially. I ve washed it out with soap, water and betadine. He now is just holding the fingers together to keep the wound closed as we try to decide whether to get stitches, super glue it, steri-strip it, etc. He has football practice in one week so quick healing is a priority. Any quick advice would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, John

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the would is not too bad then it may not need stiches and if it is very bad formed the gap of skin then it may need stiches and for that better to see the surgeon because without the clinical examination it is difficult to decide how to treat the wound, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
