Suggest Treatment For Spots On The Lungs

I am scheduled for a pulmonary surgeon to see what s wrong w/my lungs. I ve had xrays, catscan, pet scan and a bronoscopy. They tell me it came back unidentifiable so that s why I m having surgery this Friday. They say it s not a mass or a tumor but spots on both lungs the size of a dime and two the size of quarters but it has fuzzy outlines. what could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You can send a copy of the X-ray and other tests reports to evaluate the changes myself. If no tumor then there are 2 main explanations:
1. Infectious diseases (eg echinococcus, mycobacterium or TB)
2. Vacular event (infarction)

Discuss with your caring doctor. Meanwhile do send me test reports.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best

Regards,
