Suggest Treatment For Sprained Ankle, Leg Pain And Tingling Sensation Below Foot
I sprained my ankle last Sunday in a hockey game, I started walking Friday just like the ortho said. Today there is s strong pain on the outside of my leg going from my ankle and about half way up my shin. There is also a tingling in the bottom of my foot that has not gone away in the past 2 hours
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to the sprained ankle. I suggest to: -Avoid activities that cause pain, swelling or discomfort. -Use an ice pack or ice slush bath immediately for 15 to 20 minutes and repeat every two to three hours while you're awake. - To help stop swelling, compress the ankle with an elastic bandage until the swelling stops. -Elevate the leg.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
