Suggest Treatment For Spreading Rashes On Body

my daughter has a bunch of what I am assuming are mosquito/bug bites from vacationing at the Jersey shore. We ve used everything recommend but the cortisone cream usually only gives her relief for an hour or so. She s also taking zyrtec daily. She seems to be my child that has always had rather sensitive skin since a baby so we use all dye & perfume free products. Her bites are becoming the size of quarters & she s miserable. She s allergic to zithromax (gets hives) but has not had any other allergy testing

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your daughter's problem can be most likely allergic urticaria due to some thing she exposed or consumed. If zyrtec ( cetrizine) is not helping then a short course of oral corticosteroids like methyl prednisolone will be helpful. You can use cortisone cream for local application also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
