Suggest Treatment For Stage 4 Breast Cancer With Metastasis

A 72 yr. old woman has metaesetis stage 4 breast cancer. about 15 years ago a pea size biopsy was removed. X-rays showed cancer cell. surgeon wanted to remove the breast. Patient refused and went to a naturalist changed the diet and the patient claimed in 6 mos. later the same x-rays showed no Ca. She always ate particular but now she is in the hospital with no breast to be removed. It has spread into a big mass under the breast and around in the rib cage. The left arm stayed swollen for 6 weeks before she was convinced to get medical help. The surgeon said there is no way he could do any surgery. Told she would have to go home and live with it. Strangely all her lab. vitals show very normal. She did get antibiotic,I.v's, wound dressing, After a week in the hospital she is removed to a natural section healing rehabilitating hospital. She is using herbs and whatever a Dr. naturalist
suggested. Would radiation chemo, hormonal or any other treatment save her life at this time.? No one would say how long she could live

Before going for the treatment options she needs a metastatic workup to find out if the cancer has spread elsewhere.

Definitely radaition to the local site for 10 days will help her with pain and slow down the growth.

Chemotherapy will prolong her life , and improve her symptoms even if there are side effects of chemo, the outweigh the benefit.

Harmonal therapy which is oral tablet once daily also will help.

The above treatments mentioned will not cure, they will only palliate her symptoms and slow down the disease, and prolong her life.


Without treatments her survival will be maximum of 1 year

With the above approach a survival benefit of 1 more year can be achieved with a decent quality of life.
