Brother In law Recently diagnosed with Stage 4a Esophageal Cancer , esophageal stent placement 3 wks ago, reflux went from mild pre-stent to very severe post stent. recently admitted to hospital to managed reflux symptoms were unsuccessful. Meds taken are Mylanta, Protonix, Prilosec, Nexium. I was thinking of purchasing Zegrid over the counter, wanted to know has anyone found relief with this drug. Can t sleep, can t eat, can t drink much fluids, lost 70 lbs just over 2 month period. Care is palliative and comfort, receiving Chemotherapy. Have to find some relief of the reflux !
