Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain history of having Burning Mouth Syndrome along with sticky saliva clearly indicates that you have a Dry mouth which is due to decreased saliva production and moreover the watery or serous content of saliva is reduced and as there is more of mucous there is a sticky feeling..
This can be improved only by increase in saliva output and it can be done by getting ruled out for the exact cause of the dry mouth and getting treated accordingly..
You need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated as the cough is also due to Dry mouth due to which there is dryness of throat and irritation in throat due to dryness initiates bouts of cough..

As of now you can take SALIVA SUBSTITUTES known as Artificial Saliva which can be instilled multiple times in mouth for lubrication..
SALIVA STIMULANTS like lemon drops, sour candies and sugar free chewing gum can be taken frequently during the day as it stimulate saliva flow..
Drink plenty of water and avoid Stress..

Hope this information helps..
