General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It might arthritis of the ankle and foot joints. Should keep the leg elevated. If swollen, should apply alternating cold and warm compresses.

Apply analgesic cream you find over the counter. Take anti-inflammatory meds: ibuprofen, ketoprofen.

If no improvement should run x-ray of the ankle and foot joints. Plus a further consultation with rheumatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
