Suggest Treatment For Stiffness In Body With Joint Pain

I am a 43yr old woman,5 feet 4 inches height, weighing 58kgs (126lbs). I consulted a vascular surgeon recently to enquire about my joint and muscular pain that I am suffering from for the past one year. I also have a problem with varicose veins. The doctor told me to wear Class 2 compression stockings and take NAPROSYN 500mg tablets twice a day for 3 weeks. After the course of taking the medication, my pain relapsed. I seem to have arthritic symptoms. I do not want to become dependent on pain killers. Should I go in for a BONE DENSITY TEST? What is the solution to my stiffness and body/joint pain? Can I go for AYURVEDIC treatment?
