Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have 4 kids tubes were tied 2 years ago nursed my son until up to around Oct 2010 My cycle started in August 2010 I have been having flutters in stomach now for about 2 months strong. I have just now experienced a stomach cramp that lasted about 8 minutes while the cramp was releasing there were alot of big movements. Felt like something flipping or rolling.
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
You have a history of abdominal surgery of tying of tubes. Now the most probable reason for the pains you have explained looks to be due to an intestinal obstruction... I would advise you the following:: Stop taking anything orally till X-ray of the abdomen is done in standing position, This is the simplest of the investigation giving the maximum information. Also go for routine blood, urine ans stool tests and an ultrasonography to rule out Salpingitis, appendicitis, ovarian problems and so on.
Once the diagnosis is made , you can start oral fluids only till the Doctor advises you otherwise. If required get admitted, once you are alright you may then go for further investigations: Enteroclysis and so on.
