Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps With Vaginal Bleeding After Stopping Gracial Pill

Hi doc i have spotting for almost 3 months now ive already consulted my ob but it didnt stop, she gave duphaston, hemanex and gracial pill to normalized my menstruation, but i stop the pill as it has big side effect on me, what should i do now, when my bleeding comes out i experience cramps, pls. advise what to do now?

Hello,

I just want to know what you mean by spotting that means you get bleeding in between your menstrual expected days. Knowing your age is also important in this concern. The medications which your gynecologist are correct in my opinion. I just want to know you said you had big side effects so what kind of side effects you had. Because generally glacier tablet that is hormonal pills are not stopped in between the course. You need to complete at least one cycle. Otherwise stopping the tablet in between the course can cause a hormonal imbalance to worsen the situation more.

If the medications have not helped you then, in my opinion, you should go for some investigations to find out the cause. Spotting in between the menses can be because of some infection, polyp, ovarian cyst, some medication, hormonal imbalance and so many. So definitely go for sonography and some blood test like thyroid. Go for an internal vaginal checkup by a gynecologist.
