Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And High Fever In Children

Hi ,my 3year old baby girl is suffering from repeated attach of fever for almost every 10 days from the past 1 month. Doc said her haemoglobin count is 8.5 so he advised me to use iron syrup for 3 months. She is getting stomach pain when ever she gets fever.she is now under medication of clavam forte 5ml 2 times a day and flexon 7.5 ml 3 times.she is 19.5kg wt with height 102cm. Is this sufficient or wat else should I give her to relieve her from stomach pain and recurrent occurrnce of fever

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

If your daughter is having stomach pain and fever then the causes could be acute gastritis or gastroenteritis.

She needs to undergo routine blood count,ESR, urine examination and ultrasound abdomen if pain doesn't subside even after treatment.

You are giving clavum and flexon in syrup forms would be insufficient in the person who is more than 15 kg.

It would be better if you can give her clavum and flexon in half doses to get maximum and speedy recovery with other dietary supportive treatment.

You can consult your GP or pediatrician for the suitable doses of this drugs.
