Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain, Sore Throat And Numbness In Arms Of A Child With ADHD
My 6 year old is on concerta for ADHD, he also has some issues with rocking and humming, he has been doing this since he could sit up, but my question is the school nurse has called and said he is complaining of stomach ache, sore thoart, legs hurt, and arms are numb. No fever, he did this some last year in school too. I just don t know what all this could be. His doctor said maybe caused from behavioral.
As per my clinical experience, the stomach pain may be in concern with underlying gastric upset via viral or other bug.The numbness in the arms may be of subjective phenomenon in ADHD child or if particular neurologic work up is being carried out via sensory, motor evaluation with reflexes and its problematic or significant, underlying myopathy issue must be sorted out via some sort of autoimmune disorder.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
