Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain

Hi, I have had pains in my stomach and behind my sternum for the last week or so. Today out of nowhere I had a strong taste of blood in my mouth. I took a zantac, will this help? I am not sure if the blood taste was from my stomach or from my sinus. I had no appearance of blood in my mouth when I looked.

Hi,welcome to HCM.
You seem to have reflux esophageal gastritis. This can lead to sensation of heart burn and water brash in the throat.Drugs like zantac are not completely effective.I advice you to have a esmoprazole will help to combat these symptoms quite effectively.A daily 20mg dose before breakfast for 21 days can cause complete control.Elevate the head end of the bed .Avoid spicy and oily foods.Consult your gastroenterologist for further help.
Thank you
