Suggest Treatment For Strained Achilles And Swelling In Legs

I have strained my achilles about 4 weeks ago--both legs and they are extremely swollen. I have been to the doctor three times and the ER once. No one has done an ultrasound, just an xray. They have looked for sarcoiditis and rheumatoid arthritis. I have ulcerative colitis. Is there any chance that is the reason fro the extreme swelling? Shouldn t they have done an ultrasound to determine the severity of the injury? I am new in the city and struggling with the system here.

GREETINGS!!your history suggest that the swelling can be due to the fact you sprained your ankle! As of now if the swelling subsides with the anti-inflammatory there is no need of any concers! As of ulcerative colitis, studies have shown it can cause Seronegative arthritis, which can be a large-joint oligoarthritis (affecting one or two joints), or may affect many small joints of the hands and feet.but this is seen rarely! I would suggests you have the bed rest! And try out the anti-inflammatory for know!
