Suggest Treatment For Stress And Soreness On The Neck

My daughter is 25 next month. For the last couple of months she has not felt "right". She has been extremely stressed and for last 9 months has been mostly vegan. She was quite heavy before..at least 250..she is 5'8''. She has been complaining of severe soreness in her neck. Today there are two large soft bumps on her wrists. She had mono when she was sixteen and it too was severe. We went to a doc 2 weeks ago and they said they felt a lymphnode in the neck but it had not gotten bigger probably smaller. She is very much a worrier and has alot on her plate right now. She also had some blood in her stool but hasn't for almost a month...doc said she did see a hemmeroid. Thank you for your time....Sincerely, Karin Mullins

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Stress and anxiety creates muscular tension and muscular ache is normal after every such tension. During stress, body tells the muscles to be ready for the following eventuality and body readies itself by tensing the muscles around the neck as well as chest and back. The pain is normal. Your daughter should learn to de-stress herself. A good psychological counseling should do the trick. If it does not, psychotherapy methods can be used. Consult a psychologist.
