most of time some stress pain comes in my head. may be because of some stress hormones secreted. consequently this makes my heartbeat fast and I feel like I am not breathing properly. sometimes this makes unable to understand even mere talks among my friends. I don t know what is this , but I think its all just psychogenic. this all is effecting my study results. so this is a big trouble and I m seeking some one to help out of this as I don t haveany psychiatrists nearby and cant tell my parents..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

These are the common presenting symptoms of an anxiety disorder. Usually Benzodiazepines are prescribed to control these symptoms.

You should consult a psychologist for counselling and behavioural therapy. Practice deep breathing, yoga and meditation. Get your thyroid profile and vitamin D levels checked.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH
