Suggest Treatment For Stroke Affecting The Part Of Brain Responsible For Homeostasis

Hi, a friend of mine has just had major heart surgery & has apparently had a stroke which has affectected the part of the brain which controls his body temperature. what can anyone do for this as the doctors are not telling us anything. Is there anything they can do ?.
