General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
At first itself he was diagnosed to have lymphoma stage 1V which itself is an advanced stage of the disease. once it is diagnosed with stage IV the treatment is chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy.
when the disease is in small portion doctors try to remove the cancer cells by surgery, but when it is advanced doctors try their best to control the cancerous cell to delay its growth by either radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
continue the treatment. i dont think there is any wrong in the treatment strategy. every thing is fine .
hope this explains
with regards
Dr.Amarnath
