Suggest Treatment For Suicidal Attempts
I'm seriously considering taking 64 paracetamol and 32 Ibuprofen. I bought it today as a test to see how serious I am about ending my life. I've been on citalapram 40mg for the last 4 weeks but not taken that consistently, taking 12 of them in one go 2 days ago after seeing my Gp. I've taken mini overdoses of paracetamol over the last 6 weeks as things have got worse. Only upto 24 in 12 hours. If I decide to do it I need to do it properly but there must still be a bit of doubt otherwise I wouldn't be writing this I guess. Anon

I think, you need immediate in patient treatment. You should consult a psychiatric set up for proper management. Suicide attempt is not the solution of problem,but it is the indication of underline depression. You should immediately call a crisis intervention team and that would help you in this situation.
