Hello,
I can understand your concern for the sun burn in skin on the top of back in yourself. After analyzing your query with best diligence I can make out that your skin got burnt due to over exposure. As your skin is towards paler side so it is quite obvious that you have a sun burn tendency.
In your kin of cases I prefer to give a mild topical steroid along with calamine lotion application. If required a short course of oral steroid can be given for early recovery. In case of itching an antihistamine like cetrizine can be taken to reduce the intensity of itching. Avoid sun exposure as is the most important factor in reducing further damage.
All the best.
