Suggest Treatment For Sun Burn With Nausea And Fatigue
Hello, I have a very bad sun burn that I got last wednesday from being out in the sun with no sunscreen for a few hours. I have very pale skin. I experienced nasea and fatigue on thursday and friday and a little on saturday. there were big yellow blisters on my shoulders, which have since popped and the skin has flaked off. what I am worried about now is that my nipples are very swollen (never happened, not getting fat or anything, 19 yr old male.) I also have a large area beneath the skin above the solar plexus at the base of the sternum that is swollen. Is this a problem?
I completely understand your concern for sun burn with nausea and fatigue.
It appears from your query that you got acute sun toxicity due to which there are eruptions and sun burn with nausea and fatigue are present.
I suggest you to do sun protection strictly. Do cold compression for 3-4 times a day. Drink plenty of liquids so that proper hydration can be maintained.
In my patients I prefer to give an antihistamine such as cetrizine or loratadine for 2 times day for immediate relief. Application of calamine lotion helps in reducing the burning sensation.
If you are not getting better or the problems are increasing in 24 hours then can take a proper medical suggestion form your treating doctor.
All the best.
