Suggest Treatment For Suspected HSV Despite Medication

Hello! I m a 25 years old female. I m positive for HSV. From last 6 months I been getting these cuts at bottom(opening) of my vagina. I been seeing this doctor for it, she thinks it s herpes, because some of those test has been positive for HSV. I know the symptoms of herpes., and I don t think it s that. Herpes normally go away, these cuts don t and it s worse every time I try to have sex. It gets worse. And the skin around it feels very irritated and red. I been taking medicine for HSV for a month now but nothing it happening. It s still there, sometimes these cuts go away and then come back. Please I need help!

Hi there... if you have completed your antiviral drug course, HSV should not recur. For the skin around the cuts/lesions... calamine lotion may be applied to soothen the itching. You can also try applying acyclovir 1% topical cream over them. It should help
