Suggest Treatment For Sweat Bumps On Areola
I have small bumps on my aerola (sp?). The tips of my nipples have also been sore the last couple of days, but I should be expecting my period within the next few days. It isn t possible for me to be pregnant. I am an avid runner and get sweaty in my sports bra so I am wondering if this bumps have appeared as a result of possible chaffing on my nipples from running? Thanks!

Hi,
Few nodularity or small bumps are normal there. These are specialised glands (Montgomery glands) rather than sweat glands. These helps to lubricate the areola, and may be a bit prominent in some women. Nothing to worry in this.
