Suggest Treatment For Swelling After Vaginal Cyst Is Drained

Hello..I had a vaginal cyst drained a week ago.firstly...I am not sure if it was a bartholin cyst...as it was centered at the front opening to my vaginal passage.the operating surgeon said it was filled with 'sterile puss' and I am wondering how long I should continue to have sitz bathes...and would it be common to have some swelling for sometime until the area is fully healed? I didn't check the area until yesterday..and found that it still feels like the area that was supposed to be drained...is enlarged...sorry for so many questions in one shot!!
