Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Lump Nodes In The Neck
Hi, I'm a 20 year old female and I've been battling mono for a few weeks now and this past week has been the worst. I'm suffering from extreme swelling in my tonsils and lymph nodes in my neck. I was just prescribed prednisone yesterday to help with the swelling and although my tonsils seemed to have gone down, my lymph nodes have not. Is there anything in addition that I can do to reduce the swelling? My second question is that I am also having a difficult time speaking because it hurts when I do so. Is this normal?
