Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Leg After Treated Fracture

my wife is fallen from step after the X ray report found hair crack in right leg last finger bone about 70%. Doctor has advise to make a plaster for one month. after one plaster has removed but swelling & pain is not come down Pl advise to us what should i do for freely movement with out any support
