Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Lower Leg

I sprained my ankle two weeks ago had xrays nothing broken but i have stretchy ligaments that i even dislocate my thumb closing my car door. now my question is that i've had swelling in my lower leg and it pains like when you have shin splints and on the sides of my calf all the way up to my knee, i also have pins and needles in my foot that goes up my leg have been doing the RICE thing but doesn't seem to help anymore. what should i do?
