Hello,

It is normal for an ankle to swell and be painful after an episode of being strained. It normally should subside in a few days and the fact that you are already better in 2-3 days from the event shows that it is nothing to worry about. MS generally causes neurological symptoms so your symptoms do not seem to be related to it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
