General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Swelling and pain in the ear indicate possible otitis externa with surrounding cellulitis changes.

* Primary relief with analgesic as ibuprofen with paracetamol (if no history of drug sensitivity) and get prescription of necessary antibiotics as penicillin or else as per the choice of his pediatrician to get best and earliest recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
