Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Puss Formation

Hi, I have swelling around a crown and puss is coming out of it. Foul smell and taste, however, very little pain, slight tenderness to touch. I went to the dentist a few days ago and he irrigated it and said to come back in a week or so. It seems to be getting worse and I wanted a second opinion. Thank you :D

thanks for your query, the pus discharge from the gums around the crown can be treated with a course of antibiotic followed by curretage (deep cleaning of the gums) if there is gum infection. other wise if tooth is infected it has to root canal treated(if not treated or not properly treated) and crown has to be replaced..these conditions can be confirmed by radiographs... consult your oral physician for needful...i hope my answer will help you..take care..
