Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Stones In The Tonsils
I have always had tonsil issues. However, in this last year, my tonsils became enlarged. I have been finding tonsils stones everyday, and it beginning to affect how I eat and drink things because I can't swallow without gagging. I'm having trouble breathing, and I wanted to go to the hospital about it. However, I have no insurance. Will the hospital preform emergency tonsillectomies? My tonsils were supposed to come out 10 years ago, but my doctor never took them out.
Well, excessively enlarged tonsils can cause closing of throat therefore will lead to breathing difficulties as well as painful swallowing..
Tonsil stones or Tonsilloliths can cause inflammation of tonsils and as it is a chronic case, it can lead to large tonsils that doesn't regress in size causing serious discomfort..
You should consult an ENT Surgeon and get evaluated and he can do a proper clinical evaluation and investigations like evaluating your vital signs and complete blood picture to evaluate your fitness and will definitely perform Tonsillectomy to relieve your problem permanently...
As of now do warm saline gargles, Gargle with 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water and take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
