Suggest Treatment For Swelling Caused By Insect Bite
Hi My son is 7 months of age and last week i noticed what looked like two insect bites one on each hand. |His right arm and hand have swelled up it does not seem to be causing him pain he was examined by a pediatrician last week and he mentioned he does not notice anything serious his blood pressure and heart rate were normal and the doctor adcised that the sweelling will enventually come down. Into the thrid week and the swelling is still evident some days more than others.

If still you can see the swelling, then anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen may be required. Additionally oral antibiotics may be required if there is an evidence of infection. Topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin 2 % is usually given in such cases.
