Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Arm After An Injury

I bumped my Arm today, i have broken bones before like my thumb and finger which dint really hurt but i new there was a problem because i couldn't move them. but when i bumped my arm i heard like a crack or crunch and it was like slow motion and i said to my self o my god thats not good, but anyway it was a little saw and had a laff with my mum, then i did a silly thing later on in the day to slam my hand down in anger and then my arm swelled a little, its now about 6 hours after i had done it the swelling had gone a little i have chubby arms so you can see it but can defiantly feel it swollen, and its tender to tuch but not to bad, the main give away is the sound that it made it shocked my at first and it hurt. i don't want to waist my doctors time i mean at the hospital if there is nothing to be worried about, but it its still swollen tomorrow afternoon i might go and get it checked. its in the middle of my arm so theirs nothing stopped moving to give it away that its broken, it slightly bused as well but again nothing much. i would be grateful for your help thank you.
