Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Ear Drum

Hello,

I went to the walkin clinicn this morning because my ears have been bothering me for a while..they are plugged and sometimes hurt. They told me they are clean but my eardrums are very swollen. Also to stay away from all wheat and dairy for about a month? Cant I get some ear drops to help with this???

Hello

Dear you have to use nasal decongestant drops rather than ear drops. If you take ear drops in case of perforated ear it is prone to secondary infection.

use otrivin nasal spray twice a day. Avoid cool'drinks and freeze water.If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
