I got home and blew my nose and the top part of my eye swelled up forcing my eye to be completely shut and the "air" is still in their hasn't really gone down at all with icing all last night and today... do i need a ct scan?.. i dont think i do but wife is overly worried.

you should continue cold compression.no-need of ct scan. fundus examination can be done and vision to be tested. if normal nothing to worry. after some time every thing will be normal vision and fundus can be done when swelling subside to some extent.
