Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Hands And Fingers

hello my name is Dawn, Ihave been seeing a . Rhum.. for pain and swelling in my hands an fingers. it started a year ago with my left foot know its in different parts of my body. Tonight and just about everynight my knees are hurting so bad i cant lay down it dosnt start hurting as soon as i get in bed its looks like later when im relaxing its 2am need to be up for work at 5am Dr.s not sure what i have will be taking a bone scan next week but until then how do i deal with the pain all i do is cry dont know how much more i can take of this .please help
