Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Ankle And Foot

My husband hurt his knee a couple days ago and it has been bothering him since. He has mild pain with it, it is worse when he wakes up in the morning. Today we noticed his ankle and foot on the same leg is really swollen. It does not hurt just swollen. Any idea why?

local examination by doctor is to be done for diagnosis. it can be sprain or hair line fracture. take rest and apply ankle cap. take tablet combiflam twice daily after food. after investigation the cause can be ascertained and proper treatment can be recomanded.
