Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that you have a decayed tooth leading to
dental abscess formation and it is leading to swelling and pain..
Dental abscess causes pus formation below the root tips of decayed tooth that at times perforates the bone and accumulates into the soft tissues leading to swelling..
Other thing is that if the swelling is related to wisdom tooth it can be due to inflammation of the gum flap called as
PERICORONITIS which occurs due to infection..
Nothing to worry consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and get an IOPAR (x-ray) done so that treatment can be planned according to the cause..
In case of dental abscess treatment of the tooth with
root canal treatment or extraction can help..
In case of pericoronitis if medication does not resolve the swelling and pain either removal of gum flap or extraction of tooth can help..
As of now take a stronger painkiller like TRAMADOL as it relives moderate to
severe pain..
Continue doing ice packs and taking antibiotic..
Take
soft diet and avoid chewing from painful side..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
