Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Foot And Ankle After Injury
I also hit the front of my shin, about 6 up from the ankle, very hard on the outside corner of some angle iron perpendicular to the bone in a very specific spot. It hurt like hell, but I can tough these things out. It s strange because it didn t bruise at all, but it did swell along the impact line. The part I m concerned about is that my leg below the impact, the ankle and foot have become really swollen. They are not bruising or becoming discolored, except for some reddening.

If the trauma was severe enough, you may have fractured your shin. This can easily be dertermined from a simple x-ray.
