Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Foot While On Antibiotic

my foot has been swollen since sunday. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me with an antibiotic (Monday) but it s not getting better. he didn t really say if it was sun poisoning or a reaction to something (I was at the beach last week). should the swelling be going down by now?

you have not given your history properly.initially what for you have gone to doctor for which he has advised antibiotic unless the doctor examine your initial problem it is not possible to give advise.antibiotic is advised for inflammatory condition. it may take some more time for proper response. so wait and observe for swelling if does not go completely then go to same doctor for review.
