Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Forehead And Temple Area

I used econazole nitrate 1% yesterday on my scalp and was in the sun, last night my forehead and temples swelled, it is very tender to touch. I took Benadryl before bed and today, I have swollen glands and aches all over similar to the flu. Are these related? When can I expect the symptoms to resolve.?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, flu and redness of skin of scalp may not be related, the skin condition could be due to hypersensitivity and it may be due to local medicine applied it can be given try with "Calamine lotion" hope this information helps.
