Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Gums And A Feeling Of Something Stuck In The Throat

Hi, just a few days ago I swallow my gum by mistake and ever since, I feel stirring stuck in my throat and it does not go down. No pain or anything just discomfort because no matter how much I swallow, it s still there. Should I worry? I work with a GI MD, should I do an Endoscopy?
