Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling of lip at the place of lip injury and stitches location is due to soft tissue slough. Nothing to be panic, it is common after surgery. It could be due to riboflavin deficiency as well. As you having recurrence its due to frequent licking of your lips which leads to formation of cracks in skin. It can eventually fungal infection there. I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene. You should mix hydrogen peroxide with equal amount of water and then rinse mouth with it. Take tab riboflavin one tab daily. You should avoid hot and spice food. You should consult dentist or oral physician once and get it examined. Doctor examine the wound physically wash it with bedadine and prescribe antibiotics. Apply Kenacort ointment as well.
