Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Penile Shaft
I masturbate quite often, as well as engage in sex with my partner almost as much. I have a small swelling on my penis shaft, its kinda hard and its painful if I squeeze it or push on it. It isn t the first one I ve had but they ve only started to appear over the past couple of months and its usually in the same spot. I did some research and think it may be a lymphocele but most of what I ve read says they re rarely painful
Hard masturbation can cause damage to the nerves and may cause some swelling. A lymphocele is a collection of lymphatic fluid within the body not bordered by epithelial lining.
Lymphocele may occur when the lymph channels in the penis become blocked and the area becomes hard and swollen.
The affected area on the shaft of the penis typically appears following sexual intercourse or masturbation. This usually resolves spontaneously given time and does not require treatment. You may consult a doctor if it persists.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr K. V. Anand, Psychologist
